no, he fell sick and was put in a wheel chair and was kicked off the show. not kicked off in a bad way, but hes not on it anymore
Greg WAS NOT put in a wheelchair, and he WAS NOT kicked off the show. Greg was diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance - a condition that IS NOT life threatening. It does stay with you all your life, but it can be handled with medication and management. Greg has worked the last three years to turn his health around, and announced in September 2009 that his health was now great and that he was ready to return to singing via solo concerts, motivational speaking and MC work. Greg, Anthony and Murray have Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education and are certified teachers. They, along with Jeff, founded The Wiggles in 1991. Greg was the voice and the face of the group for sixteen years and took them to the top as the world's number 1 children's group, and the highest paid entertainers in Australia. They were close friends, and the only decision makers for the group. Losing Greg was the last thing they wanted to have happen, but Greg decided he needed to step back in order to work on getting his health in order.
