What happens if a dragonfly can't fly?

If it is not fully matured you should put it back in some grass or plants next to a pond or river. If it has lost its wings or lost use of its wings there is not much you can do. It would be best to end its life, as it will not be able to feed on its own and will only suffer and die anyway.
