Another name for an animal trail?

Foot tracks are called spoors.

Some animals also leave behind (no pun) scat (unburied poop) deposits, which, just as with spoors, can provide evidence for determining what kind of animal and how long since that animal was present.

However, scat without spoors does not a "trail" make.
