Rabbits reproduce through sexual reproduction. The process involves a male rabbit, called a buck, mating with a female rabbit, called a doe. The buck will mount the doe and copulate, transferring sperm to fertilize the doe's eggs. The fertilized eggs develop into embryos inside the doe's uterus, where they grow and eventually are born as baby rabbits, called kits. The gestation period for rabbits is about 28-31 days.
