Which country does the giant otter live in?

Giant otters can be found in South America, especially the Amazon river basin. Their numbers are in decline and the animals are becoming rare. This is mainly due to habitat loss and poaching, but the use of toxins, such as Mercury, in illegal gold mining is also effecting numbers.
