What type oil should you use in a 2135 2000 series cub cadet riding mower?

I have a 1995 model 2135 and I have always used 20w50 Castrol GTX in Texas.
If you are referring to the oil in the Hydro Drive I have used regular tractor hydraulic oil labelled for use in transmissions and hydraulic units.
