Life span of snail

The name Pachnodus refers to a genus of snails that include Pachnodus velutinus a now extinct snail. they inhabited high forests, requiring constant humidity levels in excess of 90%. By the early 1990s, it was restricted to the dampest area of moss forests, and by 1994 it had become extinct. They lived from 1-2 years.
