Why do your acrylic nails have a cloudy look?

I have heard that it is because the powder may actually be a "natural" powder instead of "clear". But if this is not the cast, it may also be because too much powder is used or the brush hasn't been wiped and cleaned.

You can also try to fix it by buffing the nails.
