Cola like Coke Another answer: I use a 1500 grit sandpaper to sand the area. this works on pots very well. On aluminum trim. I use the same method, followed by a paste wax, like a car wax, then buff away excess wax, then use a toothbrush to remove wax from cracks and screws or fasteners.
