Why do men need release and women don't?

Men need release during sex because if they get too excited but don't ejaculate, it could cause them pain because in order to ejaculate, they go through a process. If something in that process is stopped and gets stuck, it could give them an infection. Also, if they are very close to ejaculating, they need to get it out otherwise the urethra gets irritable.
