Advil (ibuprofen) or Aleve (Naproxen sodium, which in higher doses is a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory), and aspirin may be better at helping calm down the inflammation which part of the migraine reaction than Tylenol (acetaminophen, in the UK/AU - paracetamol)
That said, some people do find relieve from preparations like Excedrin (Excedrin Migraine is the same thing, same ingredients in the same amounts), which have acetaminophen (Tylenol), aspirin, and caffeine in it. Caffeine helps by making the other medications work faster, as well as acting as a vasoconstrictor (temporarily acting on inflamed blood vessels). Aspirin, like ibuprofen and naproxen, acts on prostaglandins to reduce pain and inflammation. Acetaminophen itself really only reduces pain, it does not act on inflammation.
If you are under 18 or pregnant/nursing, it may not be safe to take aspirin. If you an adult on anti-coagulant therapy (coumadin, warfarin) , please speak to your doctor first.
