Herbal teas vary widely dependent on the herbs used. "Herbal tea" is a very broad category, including any hot water infusion made from any plant other than the tea plant.
Many common herbal teas are acidic, as most food and drink tends to be on the acidic side. But the range of pH (a measure of acidity) of herbal teas is huge.
One of the most common ingredients in herbal teas, hibiscus, is highly acidic. Hibiscus tea has a pH of about 2.5, which is somewhere between the pH of lemon juice and Orange Juice, and comparable to the pH of some soft drinks. Most herbal teas are less acidic than this though.
