Why is engine losing power chugging then back to normal?

Check your fuel filter for blockage/fuel flow 1st, then check fuel pump delivery pressure and volume with a pressure gauge( best get an EFI repairer to do this), bad / dirty air filter - check it, or bad / dirty fuel in tank, work from this and re post if no luck
