Adult female dinosaurs generally have a broader pelvis to allow for egg laying. Female dinosaurs that were about to lay eggs grew a type of bone tissue between the marrow and the exterior of their limb bones. It is called medullary bone, and is used to make eggshells. Only female dinosaurs had this.
