Does sulfur get rid of fleas?

I used it for a flea infestation in my home. A few old men told me that it worked. It initially killed most of the fleas. The ones that remains seem to be dying. One thing that you have to remember that no one in the industry of pest control wants you to know the things that work. otherwise you would not need their products.
