Can you feed a backyard lizard a hot dog?

Most of them are carnivorous--they eat insects.

i guess lettuce works but insects are better, it depends... backyard lizards like in Florida eat insects but like in Mexico and iguana would eat lettuce

I guess they would eat both but lettuce is probably a better idea. However, they mostly eat insects and worms.
