What does inconspicuous mean?

Making a concentrated effort to have people notice how inconspicuous you are. Saying, "I only wear sweats and a t-shirt to the gym." in order to impress someone with your inconspicuous ways.

Saying, "Oh, I don't want to wear my Rolex around because people might give me crap for it." Effectively you are saying you have a Rolex and that you plan on being inconspicuous about having it, however, by admitting this you are NOT being inconspicuous at all.
