Act 3 Scene 1 is an important scene. This scene is where the violence escalates causing so many people deaths. Tybalt is the important character because without him there would be no violence at all throughout the play/movie. Without the violence there would be no passion between Romeo and Juliet because they wouldn't have to fight for their love, it would be easy, instantly making the storyline boring.
