Where do you check the oil in a suzuki intruder?

Let the engine idle for 5 to 10 minutes to heat up the oil. Slowly remove the oil filler cap positioned on the right side of the engine. Clean the dipstick with a paper towel, then inset it back into the oil and remove it again to get an accurate reading.
