How do you transfer video from a canon zr300 camcorder to computer?

You will need to buy a firewire cable to connect from your camera to the computer. Make sure you know what kind of connections you need on each end before you purchase. You may need a 4pin to 6pin firewire cable or in my case, I needed a 4 pin to 9 pin cable.You have to make sure your computer is capable of receiving video via the firewire cable. You will also need to have a computer program that will recognize video and guide you through the process of capturing the video.
