Where is the fuse for the boot on Vauxhall astra?

If the boot will not open, and it is the "electric boot"....

Firstly, try to wash the windscreen using the washers. It is the same fuse. If the washers work, the chances are that the fuse is not blown.

The fuse can be found thus:

Open the bonnet.

Next to the battery (on the right as you look into the engine compartment) is a large black cover.

Open it up, you will need a screwdriver to gently release the clips, to see the fuse box.

In the fuse box are many fuses, and at the bottom of the box, closest to you, are two fuses. The red one is the boot/washers.

It can be the left or right one, as different cars have it on different sides.

Alternatively come to where I work, and I will change the fuse for free, because I am nice like that.
