What does a meth lab smell like?

Liquid Methadone reminded me exactly of Cherry cough syrup. I've only had the red kind, though. I've heard there was a clear liquid as well, so maybe someone who's had the clear liquid can answer also, but I'm pretty sure the red liquid Methadone is the most common liquid given these days.

As far as the pills go? Odorless.
