Where is the crankshaft position sensor located on a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9L engine?

The crankshaft position sensor on the V 8 is behind the passenger side cylinder head, mounted through the transmission bell housing. The crankshaft position sensor on the diesel is mounted on the front of the engine, pointed at the crank pulley.
