Why would some offices limit the number of people who can accompany a patient into the exam room?

Some physicians may limit the number of people who can accompany a patient into an exam room because the rooms are small. They may also limit the number of people in the room because the physician may fear that the patient wonâ??t be truthful about his/her symptoms in front of other people.
