Can you describe a time that you provided an exceptional customer experience?

EXAMPLE:

When I was working at IKEA a customer who had come into the Swedish Food Market was asking if we had a certain product. I looked it up on the computer to find that we didnt have that in stock, but also we had never had it in stock. I apologized to the customer and explained this to him. He got quite angry saying that they had it in the stores over east!

So I offered to order some in for the gentleman and gave him and option of a similar product to try until his product arrived.

I took his name, email and phone number and when the stock arrived I rang him, he told me the product I'd suggested was Excellent and he had been telling his friends all about it.
