How long the paint fume can go away?

It really depends on the kind of paint, the humidity level and how much ventilation there is. The super-strong-just-painted smell should go away in a few days. But it will probably be months before you can walk into the room and not smell it. Open some Windows, if you can and maybe turn on some fans. Get more fresh air in there and that will help.
