Why are rubber ducks yellow?

Because ducklings are yellow. So rubber ducks are as close to the real thing as possible, apart from the rubber and the plastic squeaker.Most rubber ducks are much different from actual ducks because their eyes are more bulgy and their more yellow than baby ducks.
