What is a bull fish?

A Bull fish is what most people would call a Sting Ray. they are called Bull fish on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and I don't know if they are else wear, but that is what it is. They are called this because when you hook one on a fishing line they tend to fight back and pull the line. They are known to break lines, and fishing polls, and pull fishing polls into the water.
