What does making a difference mean?

I thinking making a different in other people's lives or in your community first starts with yourself. Take a look at yourself and see what your outlook is on life. If your life is not that great, what can you do to make it better? This will allow you to lead by example and to be an inspiration to others.

There are many ways to make a difference. One can make a difference by starting a recycling program, volunteer at local youth organizations, or your local church. Often times people just need to know that someone cares and is there for them. A warm blanket and a listening ear can make all the difference in the world. It can give the person hope by making them feel that they are not alone and that there are people who do care.
