I was unaware that the Drug Enforcement Association made an Application for cell phones. In case you don't get my humor, I meant that perhaps the app's name would be iD.E.A. But, if the question is meant ask who first thought to make a cell phone, here's what I think. I'm sure Alexander Graham Bell probably would have liked to have done it in 1848, though he simply didn't have the know-how. Nikola Tesla probably could have pioneered this technology if he weren't so engrossed in making electropropulsive flying machines. Nathan B. Stubblefield was gained a patent for a wireless phone in 1908. It was much more like a field radio than anything else. In 1947, A patent for wireless cell stations was made by AT&T. Sweigert the first efficient cellular telephony device in 1969. Martin Cooper made up the design for the first cellular phone that became successful.
