The four main skin types are:
Normal: Balanced, neither too oily nor too dry. Normal skin usually has a smooth texture, minimal visible pores, and a healthy, even complexion.
Oily: Characterized by excess sebum production, which can make the skin appear shiny, particularly in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin). Oily skin may be prone to acne and enlarged pores.
Dry: Lacking in moisture, dry skin can feel tight, rough, or flaky. It may show fine lines more prominently and can be more susceptible to redness and irritation.
Combination: A mix of different skin types on various parts of the face. Typically, the T-zone might be oily while the cheeks and other areas may be dry or normal.
Each skin type requires different care and products to maintain a healthy complexion.
