This is a very easy repair and very inexpensive...if you do it yourself. You will need 2 things: Thermostat - $5.00, new thermostat gasket - $1.50 if it doesn't come with the thermostat. Will take about an hour if you have never done it before and most of that is getting a couple of things out of the way in order to have access to the thermostat housing...two bolts out, replace the old thermostat and two bolts in...Bam! all done. Make sure you use a torque wrench to proper specs and check for leaks. I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual for continuing reference. Craig Clark
