How do you get rid of geckos on the patio and inside the house?

you really want to keep lizards as they eat all the other bugs and are pretty much scraid of us so they stay hidden. But really the only way is to use a bug spray and then make sure all your outside openings are sealed off so they can't get back in. Openings are usually around sinks.
