What are the disadvantages of owning a hamster?

* Cost- hamsters need fresh and dried food daily, aswell, as the cost of bedding,sawdust e.t.c. * time- Weekly cleaning of the cage and daily handling and feeding can be time consuming. * attension- A hamster needs daily handling to keep him tame. * Smell- if you are unable to clean them out the cage will begin to smell.
