oil plug for 2002 MB C320
OKAY , I spent 3 days asking, reading and going under the car to find it . I finaly did !!!!. on the internet , people write :
The plug is under the car , in the oil pan . if the oil is red then you got the wrong plug , hahahaha
Or ,they might say , the plug is under the car about half way behind the driver . hahahhaha , what a great help !!.
Now that i finally found it , I need to give an exact location :
1- Raise the car up using a jack . support using at least 3 stands in diffrent locations , ( Donot ever rely on the Jack alone , Too dangerous , believe me ) .
2- make sure that the car is well supported and no chance in heaven that supports will fail , i am warning you again .I am an engineer that takes no chances , hahaha
3- There are 2 gray plastic covers under the car , lay on your back ( head up ) between the two front tires . drag your self under car ( looking at bottom of car) . as you pass the bumber , there is the front plastic cover being held with 6 bolts ( may be 1/2 inch socket ) . you need to remove this cover .
4- the plug is located under the cover that you removed , it is in the silver oil pan that projects about 4 inches lower than other things in the bottom of the car . The plug is small and facing the back of the car . it is about 36 inches from the front of the car and about 24 inches from the passenger tire , it is not in the center of the car it is more toward the passenger rather than the driver .
5- most important , you will see some oil around the plug .
6- this canot be confused with the transmission plug that is under the 2nd plastic cover under the car and on a flat transmission pan that is black color and look like a rubber plug. GOOD LUCK .
