For a Sherman tank, it's about 20 feet, but the treads tear the heck out of the street.

For an Abrams A-1 Battle tank it's probably 25 feet.

For a Fully loaded Semi 18 wheeler with 40 cattle in the trailer, it's probably something like 200 feet.

For a 1965 Ford Mustang, with good tires, and good brakes, probably 130 feet ?

For a 2010 Ford Mustang with good tires and ABS Brakes, you might get lucky at 100 feet or possibly less.

It also depends on how fast you can react and slam on the brakes.
