Where was the hideout of Edward teach?

Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, is believed to have used Ocracoke Inlet off the coast of North Carolina as one of his hideouts. This remote area provided him with a strategic location for ambushing ships and avoiding naval patrols. His presence in the region contributed to his notorious reputation as one of the most feared pirates of the early 18th century.
