Is it possible to shoot a gun out of someones hand?

Possible? Yes. Likely? No. There have been a very few instances of a marksman with a rifle being able to shoot and strike a firearm- but despite what may have been shown in a Western movie, it would not take place in a gunfight- other than by pure luck.
