Did Rory Gallagher meet SRV

Rory Gallagher and Stevie Ray Vaughan (SRV) never met in person. Although both were highly influential Guitarists and had mutual admiration for each other's work, their paths did not cross during Gallagher's lifetime. Rory Gallagher passed away in 1995, while SRV had already established himself as a major figure in Blues Music by that time. Their shared legacy continues to inspire guitarists worldwide.
