Why do some people eat locusts?

Locusts are plentiful and a good source of protein.

Everything is relative to the culture. We eat cows and they they are worshiped elsewhere. Some cultures eat dogs and we have them as pets. Sushi was disgusting to us at first and now it's the "in" thing.
