How are Jem Scout and Atticus related and what are two identifying charicteristics of each charicter?

Jem And Scout are both Atticus' children. They are both very curious about Arthur "Boo" Radley through out the whole story and later find out that he is in fact a mockingbird. Atticus is a lawyer in Maycomb and is left defending Tom Robinson, a black man accused of raping a 19 year old girl named Mayella Ewell. This is a big issue in their society considering the fact that prejudice and racism plays a big role in humanity and it's views. Hope this helps! =]
