Cleaning microfiber furniture can be a bit tricky, as it can be easily damaged. There is usually a tag on it that will say S for 'solvent based cleaner' or W for 'water based cleaner'. Generally, water on microfiber will leave water rings. Something that quickly evaporates is almost always the way to go. If it is just the smell that needs removed then the product Febreze would work just fine, sprayed in a fine mist over the furniture. Sprinkling baking soda over the area of concern is an option as well.
