If your car spins out and hits the divider on the freeway then a minute later a taxi cab hits your car who is at fault?

You are responsible for the first collision, the taxi might be responsible for being unable to control his vehicle but that would be up to the evaluation of the investigating officer. I agree with the first answer and would like to add that if your car was still moving when the Taxi hit you then you could be liable for the damage to the Taxi. If you had come to a complete stop then the Taxi may be partially At Fault for some of your damage.
