What were important details in Catching Fire Chapter 1?

Well, it tells about Katniss' life and where comes from. It tells about how her land is poor and they aren't allowed to hunt. It also tells about Prim and how her father died. It tells how she doesn't want kids (which comes to meaning at the end of Mockingjay) and tells how she tries to be quiet and not noticed and how she doesn't get attention. It also explains why there are Hunger Games, its meaning and about the dark days. If you don't know what those are just read the book
