Is the valeyard the Doctor

According to The Master in "The Trial of A Time Lord" The Valeyard is The Doctor "Somewhere between his 12th and final regeneration"

The Master's Word shouldn't necessarily be taken as truth but in the season 7 episode "The Name of the Doctor", 'Valeyard' was one of the names we're told the Doctor has been called.
