Are the revlon lip butters lipstick?

They are half way between a tinted lipbalm, a lipgloss and a lipstick. The darker / more vibrant colours (e.g. Red Velvet, Candy Apple) seem to be more opaque, where as some of the lighter colours (e.g. Sugar Frosting) are very sheer.

Reasons they would be a tinted lipbalm:

* moisturising / hydrating

* some shades are very sheer

Reasons they would be a lipgloss:

* glossy texture

* gives a shiny sheen to lips

Reasons they would be a lipstick:

* some shades are very opaque

* most are vibrant colours
