What is the average cost of doggie day care?

The cost of doggie daycare will depend on where you live, the amount of service your dog requires, whether you have someone come to your home, use a center and whether they provide transportation.

I have found a local company that offers a variety of services; they provide doggie day care in a family type setting, they also offer overnight care in the same home. They will also come to my home once or twice per day to take my dog for walks and to do his "business", feed and water him, play with him for 20 or 40 minutes per visit. These same care givers will stay in my home overnight 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

The prices vary greatly, $30.00 per day for daycare, $45.00 for day and overnight care, $20.00 to $30.00 for coming to my home and $55.00 (additional) to spend the night in my home. Their prices seem comparable to other doggie day care in our area.

I found doggie day care in Southern California for as little as $15.00 per day and as much as $75.00 per day, the majority seems to be about $40.00 per day in a family type setting.
