What boats did Lewis and Clark take?

I do! They took one kielboat (dont know if i spelled that right), which is a big boat for shallow waters that had a sail but was mostly propelled with poles and oars. It held most of the supplies. They also took two pirogues ( again, spelling) which are still used in the south today. Hope that helps:)
