Where are peacocks born?

Peacocks are born from eggs laid by peahens, the female of the species. These eggs are typically found in ground nests, which the peahens create in dense vegetation to provide protection from predators. After an incubation period of about 28 days, the chicks, known as peachicks, hatch and are able to walk and feed themselves shortly after.
