Carbohydrates are the most basic and abundant source for our body's energy. When we eat them, the carbs are broken down to release energy for our body to use.

Carbohydrates get a bad reputation because taking in too many causes excess weight. Most people on "Low Carb" or "No Carb" diets don't realize that they are something our body needs.

So basically, balance is key.

Also, too few carbs can cause ketones to build up in your body which is harmful to your kidneys.
